Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor for our client based in North Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large, worldwide organisation.  It is a full time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday for an initial 12 month contract.

Basic Function

To supervise the Offsite Coke storage and logistics programme in accordance with procedures and daily instructions.

To ensure storage maximisation of all contract warehouses and Green Coke pads for cost control.

To ensure Coke Storage and handling Quality Control

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Supervision of all offsite Coke movement activities, in accordance with daily instructions.
  • Responsible for the maximisation of Coke storage in all contracted Warehouses and offsite Green Coke pads.
  • Accountable for sampling from stockpiles in accordance with sales contracts.
  • Responsible for the Supervision of all offsite Container loading operations and the issuing of loading instructions.
  • Ensures his/hers own periodic environmental/safety audits/checks are completed by due date.
  • Responsible for the weekly temperature monitoring of all Green Coke stock.
  • Responsible for the timely implementation of operating orders and instructions.

Priorities:

  • Prevention of contamination.
  • Cost control by storage maximisation.
  • Maintain clear communication channels through all levels.
  • Coke Security and loss control.
  • Container schedule management.

Skills

  • Experienced Supervisor with full knowledge of area plant/equipment and safety/environmental/operational procedures.
  • Act as mentor and set the standard for Coke logistics Contractors.
  • Full knowledge of the Container logistics process and demurrage costs.
  • Sets high standards for performance in all aspects of the job.
  • Act in the best interests of the Coke Business.
  • Shares best practices with others.

  • Understands when to make a decision and when to consult first with others.

Piping Designer - 3D Autoplant

List is seeking a Piping Designer experienced with AutoCad Plant 3D for an office based role in Hull.  This is a contract position with a duration of a minimum of 6 months. The role is working within and engineering and design consultancy operating in the petrochemical, oil and gas and nuclear sectors.

Role Details:

  • Review of existing piping models

  • Report issues to be addressed, such as:

            *  Materials out of spec,

            *  In line equipment out of spec

            *  Vents / drains missing,

            *  Standard details incorrect, e.g. TI's, PI's

            *  Model / EFD discrepancies

 

  • Supports incorrect, not connected to steel etc.

  • Prepare rough estimate of time to correct above noted points

  • Progress model updates to allow auto generation of Isometrics

  • Liaise with both model lead and drafting section lead of the project to advise:
            *  Projected delivery of isometrics for backdrafting

            *  Number of Isometricss to be delivered for backdrafting

             *  Areas requiring TQ's preparing.

 

As the project scope has increased to include secondary steelwork and associated pipe supports, there is likely to be a significant amount of rerouting of already modelled pipework.

3D Structural Designer

A 3D Structural Designer is required for an Engineering Consultancy based in Hull. The Designer Engineer will be required to work alongside a structural, stress and piping design team to ensure timely completion of project specifications, designs and drawings.

This is a full time contract role with a minimum duration of 6 months.

Primariesy Job Responsibilities

  • Use AutoCAD (2D and 3D) for developing basic and detailed structural and pipe support designs.
  • Ensure the timely completion of all project design tasks.
  • Ensure any variations are highlighted and the Lead Engineer is notified.
  • Ensure all project documents are prepared in accordance with company operating procedures
  • Liaise with other disciplines to resolve issues.
  • Maintain a pro-active, positive approach to communication, particularly in supplying information, data and assistance as necessary.

Essential Education & Experience

  • HNC / HND in relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering design experience
  • Must be capable of understanding the structural engineering principals
  • Must have experience of working to current Codes of Practice.
  • Ensure job tasks are correctly performed, with no impact on cost or schedule.
